NBCUniversal Television Distribution is the domestic and international television distribution division of NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. History

NBCUniversal Television Distribution was formed through the merger of various historic television distribution companies, most notably:

• MCA-TV – The original television syndication arm of MCA Inc., responsible for distributing numerous hit series from the Universal Television catalog, including Quincy, M.E..
• Universal Television Enterprises – The successor to MCA-TV in the 1990s.
• NBC Enterprises – The syndication and distribution unit of the NBC television network.
• Following the 2004 merger of NBC and Universal Studios, the unified distribution operation became known as NBCUniversal Television Distribution.

The show continued to be distributed through traditional syndication and later appeared on digital broadcast networks and streaming platforms.
